Volunteer interpreters at the Nerja Health Centre

Created in November 1997 with the momentum of Social Work of the Health Centre in Nerja.

Since then, 97 people of different nationalities have participated as volunteers; we are currently 8 in Nerja.

Located at the entrance of the centre to help in communication to whoever requests it.

We are pleased when new people who are here for a while want to volunteer and know languages.

This voluntary activity is enormously rewarding for the volunteer and the patient as we do it with nearness, humanity and confidentiality.

The volunteers both men and women, share the work from Monday to Friday from 09:30hrs to 13:30hrs.
